Something from nothing ... or is it?
What is this "Trick of the Mind"?
How can you create something from nothing?
Are we sure that anything exists? If something is woven from the stuff of nothingness perhaps it remains nothingness. After all, space is almost entirely vacant, except for a few atoms, and they themselves are almost entirely vacant, except for a few sub-atomic particles which are nothing more than resonating field oscillations, and what are they but disturbances in nothing!
Perhaps it is all just a dream in the transcendent mind1. But who that transcendent mind is, and how it exists and whether it exists and what it is doing, is beyond the scope of these metaphysics. This religion doesn't discuss the detail of the transcendent plane, it merely points out that it exists and shows the points where it impinges on the paradigm of Infinite Dimensions.
A Dream, a Demonstration or perhaps a Joke, however you slice it, it remains A Trick of the Mind.
